TAT CARPET SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş takes all necessary technical and administrative measures in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 in order to protect your personal data processed within the scope of its activities. Your personal data are processed by TAT CARPET SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş, in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the following purposes:
• To improve, develop and
diversify our products and services and to offer alternatives to
real and legal persons with whom we have commercial relations,
• To ensure communication and cooperation regarding services carried
out by TAT CARPET SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş or by authorized third
parties, to provide coordination, to conduct joint business
activities, to determine the needs of our customers and employees,
to fulfill contractual obligations, to carry out advertising and
marketing activities, to ensure customer tracking, and to provide
occupational safety and business continuity,
• To enhance and improve our service standards,
• To determine and implement our commercial business strategies,
• To fully perform the contracts to which TAT CARPET SANAYİ VE
TİCARET A.Ş is a party and to verify that counterparties fulfill
their contractual obligations,
• To ensure the legal security of real and legal persons who have
commercial relations with TAT CARPET SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş,
• To prepare commercial books, invoices, bank checks and payrolls
required by legislation,
• To ensure the security of employees, visitors and company premises
and to control entries and exits,
• To evaluate recruitment, termination and training processes of job
applicants, to create personnel files and to maintain human
resources policies,
• To increase the morale, motivation, performance level and
satisfaction of employees, to strengthen their interaction with each
other and the company and to ensure loyalty to the company,
• To carry out commercial procurement transactions,
• To conduct corporate correspondence accurately and completely,
• To record visitor information in order to generate statistical
data in case our website is visited,
• To carry out required quality and standard audits,
• To fulfill obligations stipulated by laws and regulations,
• To record images via security cameras located at building
entrances, exterior areas, cafeteria, visitor waiting areas, parking
lots, security cabins and corridors for the purpose of ensuring
building security; such records are supervised by the Security Unit.
Within the scope of the purposes stated above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, personal data may be transferred to:
• Business partners to ensure the
continuity of commercial activities,
• Suppliers on a limited basis for the provision of products and
services,
• Relevant public institutions and organizations, primarily the
Social Security Institution (SGK), to fulfill legal obligations and
ensure security,
• Banks and other private and public legal entities for the payment
of social and financial rights of employees,
• Legally authorized public institutions and judicial authorities
upon request and limited to the purpose of such request,
• Domestic and international software companies and technology firms
for database creation, system operation and maintenance,
• Domestic and international business partners, dealers and
suppliers for customer tracking and meeting customer needs,
• Affiliated companies and service providers for social and cultural
events such as activities and conferences,
• Health institutions and insurance companies within the scope of
occupational health and safety practices.
Your personal data are collected verbally, in writing or electronically through declarations, application forms, website forms, personnel documents, contracts, information forms, surveys, job application forms, camera recordings, visitor logs and guest internet services by authorized persons or entities.
Data are collected based on:
• necessity to fulfill legal
obligations of the data controller,
• necessity for the legitimate interests of the data controller,
provided that fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed,
• explicit consent where required.
These data are processed to conduct commercial and administrative activities lawfully, maintain operations, and fulfill legal obligations completely and accurately.
Personal data shall be retained for the period required by the purposes stated in this Information Notice. In case of possible disputes, data may be retained for the statute of limitations periods determined by relevant legislation solely for the purpose of exercising legal rights.

A.Ş undertakes to take necessary technical and administrative
measures and conduct audits to ensure data security, prevent
unlawful processing and unauthorized access.
• Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties contrary to
legislation or used for purposes other than those stated.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the right to:
• Learn whether personal data are
processed,
• Request information if processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used
accordingly,
• Know third parties to whom data are transferred,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• Request deletion or destruction of data if processing reasons no
longer exist,
• Object to adverse outcomes arising from automated analysis,
• Claim compensation for unlawful processing.

Requests shall be finalized free of charge within 30 days. If additional cost arises, fees determined by the relevant communiqué shall apply. If unsatisfied with the response, data subjects may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority.
